7 Must-Sees in Toronto While You’re at PCMA Education Conference

For all those heading to PCMA Education Conference, welcome to Toronto! In case you didn’t know, EventMobi is actually based in Toronto and our staff has a few favourite spots we want to share with you!

Stephanie Robinson, Client Relations Manager

1. Harbourfront!

“The Toronto Harbourfront is my favourite place to walk. Despite being downtown Toronto, I can escape the hustle and bustle with a sunny walk along the water. There’s also a lot of green space which is great for people watching!”

Aidan Ryan, Sr. Account Manager

2. Toronto Islands

“I love spending the weekend at Toronto islands. Despite being just a 10 minute ferry ride from downtown Toronto, it feels like paradise. Beaches, yes, beaches in Canada! I didn’t believe at first either but you have to see it to believe it!”

Elise Taylor, Sr. Account Manager

3. Queen Street West

“Starting at Queen and University, walk west and just soak it all in. You get the traditional shopping district mixed in with independent shops the further West you go. Definitely finish off with a sweet treat from Nadege and find a sunny patch of grass in Trinity Bellwoods Park.”

Dylan Monorchio, Technical Writer

4. King Street West Restaurants

“They say you should spend no more than a third of your income on your rent, but no such guideline exists for King Street restaurants, which is fortunate because King is full of amazing food.  Toronto in general is such a diverse city and the cuisine reflects that. You could dine at a different spot every day for a month and not try half the places you should, but King West is a great place to start.”

Bob Vaez, CEO

5. EventMobi Office

“Since you’re here, come visit us! Our office is just up the street from PCMA Education Conference at College and Spadina (243 College St). We’d love to show you behind the scenes at an event technology startup!”

Jonathan Bunford, Operations Technical Specialist

6. Cultural Communities

“Toronto really is Canada’s cultural mosaic exemplified.  Throughout the city you can find pockets of vibrant diversity, all nestled into the flowing cityscape. Little Italy, Chinatown, Greektown, Little Poland, Little India, Koreatown, and much more, are often just steps away from each other.”

7. Tourism Toronto: Guided Tours

Just in time for PCMA, Tourism Toronto is offering guided tours of the city, which you can sign up for Guided Tours – Tourism Toronto. It’s a great way to get to know the city in a short period of time!
