Bob Vaez is a passionate event professional and engineer with deep expertise in mobile and web technologies for meetings, conferences, and trade shows.

Currently, Bob is the President, CEO and Founder of EventMobi, where he combines his knowledge of the event industry and attendee behavior to create the most widely used mobile event app on the global market. Named 2014 Industry Innovator by Meetings & Incentive Travel, Vaez’s team of event planners and engineers makes it easy for planners to create their own custom conference apps to share with attendees. Bijan Vaez
CTO & Co-Founder

Bijan has spent the last seven years designing, architecting, & developing large scale cross-platform mobile and web applications, but now spends most of his time trying to figure out how best to scale technology teams. Previous to EventMobi, Bijan built an award-winning medical diagnoses iOS app, was part of the discrete graphics team at AMD and co-founded a real-time RFID asset tracking consultancy. Bijan holds a BASc in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto.

Mark Ramsay

Mark comes to EventMobi with over 20 years of sales experience and executive leadership from IBM, Compaq, WebMethods and DataMirror. Most recently Mark was the Senior Vice-President and Chief Revenue Officer at CNW Group. He also helped grow revenue and cultivate stellar sales teams at high-tech SaaS companies during high growth or product transition as VP of sales at Eloqua and Solarsoft.

Joshua Auslander

Joshua joined EventMobi in 2015 as acting Chief Financial Officer, bringing more than 20 years of financial experience and expertise to our growing technology company. He has helped guide several technology companies in various stages of growth, raising capital and positioning and executing the successful sale to public company acquirers. Joshua holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto, and is a CPA and CFA charterholder.

Thorben Grosser
General Manager, Europe

Thorben is a seasoned event planner and marketer with more than a decade of experience. He joined EventMobi in 2012 and heads up the company’s European office. As General Manager, Thorben built a multi-disciplinary team of passionate marketers, sales and support staff and grew EventMobi into one of Europe’s leading event technology brands. A film-enthusiast from his early days, he's worked at numerous film festivals across Europe and founded the Clipstar Short Film festival and the Sura Open Air Cinema. He holds a BAHons in event management and has co-authored a series of publications on event management and marketing. Passionate about education, he champions EventMobi’s educational efforts and lectures at HWTK University of Applied Sciences in Berlin.
